Supervisors and Auditor

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

One of the first items on the agenda is an update on the new law enforcement center. Jerry Purdy from Design Alliance will present the design and development plan and mechanical system options, and the Board will consider them for approval. They will then consider a vehicle purchase request for the Emergency Medical Services Department, two different wetland mitigation credit purchases, and Board appointments for the Colfax Township clerk and trustee. Additionally, they will have more discussion and possible action on the janitorial services contracts with Reliable Maintenance and Genesis Development.

The regular meeting will conclude with an informational workshop with the auditor’s office. The Board will then reconvene at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening for a joint meeting with township trustees from around the County regarding the pioneer cemetery ordinance. The meetings are open to the public, and the regular meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
