Another candidate for Iowa Governor will be coming to Perry next week for a meet and greet.
On Tuesday, August 22nd, Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Norris will be at the Cellar at La Poste from 6-7:30 p.m. There is no cost to attend, but there will be a cash bar available. Norris lives in Des Moines, where he is the co-owner of the State Public Policy Group. In the past, he has served as the Chair of the Iowa Democratic Party, Chief of Staff under former Governor Tom Vilsack, Chair of the Iowa Utilities Board, and Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington D.C.
