It’s well past the 4th of July, and the corn is high here in Iowa.  Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright is asking drivers to proceed with caution while driving through open country.

The Sheriff advises special consideration when stopping or yielding at uncontrolled intersections.  He suggests rolling down windows, listening, and looking for dust in the air before proceeding.

Additionally, the Sheriff askTasseling corns all drivers to please use their turn signal when entering all intersections.  Without a turn signal to direct traffic, it is often difficult to know where each driver will turn, which could cause an accident.

Please be safe on all roads and continue to turn your knob to Raccoon Valley Radio for all the latest safety and weather related updates.
