Mass of Christian Burial for Paul Schmitt, 88, of Churdan, will be Saturday at 2 pm at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Churdan.  Burial will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery west of Churdan.  Visitation will be Friday from 4 pm to 7 pm at the church.  A Vigil service will begin at 7 pm.  Memorials are suggested to the family for donations to Paul’s favorite charities.  Brown Funeral Home in Churdan is assisting the family.  Survivors include:  Wife, Pat.  Children, Kathleen Schmitt of Carroll, Charles of Lohrville, Anthony of Des Moines, Kenneth of Carroll, William of Alleman and Steven of Minnesota.
