New Greene County head football coach Mitch Moore is a wide receiver by trade and in addition to heading the program and coordinating the offense, he’ll be coaching receivers. Former Ram standout football player Bob Allen will be helping coach tight ends on a volunteer basis.
The first year head coach has assembled a coaching staff comprised of paid assistants and volunteers. Some are brand new to coaching, while others have coaching experience. Most of the high school coaches are young, with more than one in their twenties.
Enthusiasm and energy abound not only with the players, but with the coaches. The public has opportunities to watch the players, and coaches, at practice. The team will be on the road tomorrow practicing in Scranton from 5-6:15 p.m. They’ve already held public practices in Grand Junction and Churdan.
