Two recent projects in the City of Perry have been completed, and at the last City Council meeting the books on the projects were officially closed.
The first project was the sanitary sewer cleaning for zones 3, 4, 8, and 9 in Perry. Bolton and Menk submitted the final pay request of $14,490.34, which the Council approved. They also approved the final acceptance and certification of completion on the sewer cleaning.
The other project was for the North Street construction. The street was extended from 16th Street to 18th Street. The Council approved the final pay request to Corell Contractors for $17,503, as well as the certificate of completion for the project. They also approved a change order for the project, which reduces the project cost. The price for the work ended up being $47,456.90 under what was originally allotted. The Council adjusted the final quantities to reflect the completed project. The cost came in under estimates due to money saved on materials.
The Council was complimentary of Corell, along with Bolton and Menk, for their work on the projects.
