Aspiring horticulturalists who are interested in going through the Iowa Master Gardener program have until tomorrow to sign up for the core training course.

The course is being offered starting Tuesday, September 12th by Dallas County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. It includes 40 hours of live webinars and face-to-face training, as well as a one-day session at ISU to take advantage of their horticulture laboratories. Participants will learn the best practices for things such as choosing plants, designing gardens, and managing pests.
