Today marks day number five of practice for the ACGC Charger football team as they continue with contact above the waist and shoulder pad use.

With the first week of practice not providing too much contact, head coach Mark McDermott has focused his sights on more fundamental aspects of the game as he shared with Raccoon Valley Radio.

“We do like to stress a lot of technique and spacing for the offensive linemen, making sure we’re lined up correctly. Also to start working on the playbook a little bit,” explained coach McDermott.

Today will the the final day of truly limited practice as tomorrow will welcome in the first day of full pads and full contact.
