The Greenfield Lions Club is hosting a first-ever event, as a tribute to a former coach.

The Coach Daut Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, August 26th at the Greenfield Country Club. It’s being held in honor of the popular Nodaway Valley football coach, Bob Daut, who passed away in 2012. The Lions Club is looking for 18 teams to participate in a four person best shot tournament. Cost to participate is $160 per team, which will include lunch sponsored by the Nodaway Valley Elementary Booster Club. Funds raised will go towards a 2018 Coach Daut Scholarship, Camp Courageous, and the Adair County Special Olympics.

Registration forms can be picked up at Adair County Health and Fitness Center, Pro Team Insurance, or the Greenfield Country Club. You can register between now and August 20th.
