The Perry City Council will meet Monday evening in regular session.
One of the first items on the agenda is a public hearing on proposed contract documents and estimated costs for repair or improvement for the 2017 slip-lining project. The public is encouraged to attend and give input on the sewer project. Some old business the Council will discuss includes: consideration of the megawatt lease option agreement amendment; discussion of the shadow of the rails installation; setting a date for a public hearing for an amendment to the franchise agreement with Interstate Power and Light Company; as well as several pay requests, agreements, and certificates of completion.
The Council will then appoint representatives to the North Raccoon Watershed Management Board, fix a date for a public hearing on a general obligation loan agreement, and approve their ballot language for the local option sales tax measure. Finally, they will have further discussion on the stop sign ordinance for the intersections of North Street and 16th and 18th streets.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the Clarion Room at City Hall.
