The First United Methodist Church in Jefferson invites everyone to their annual Sweet Corn Festival on Sunday.

The event will be from 5 to 6:30pm in the parking lot between Russell Park and the Webb House. A meal of all-you-can-eat sweet corn, plus pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, fruit cobblers and ice cream and a beverage will be served for $8 for adults, $4 for kids ages 5 to 12 and kids four and under can eat for free. Takeout will be made available by driving to the west entrance to the park.

During the event, there will be free games for kids in the Webb House. Tickets are available from any church member or at the park entrance on Sunday.

All proceeds will go to the Webb House, Greene County Early Learning Center and Greene County Adopt-A-Family.
