panora

For the first time in a long time, the City of Panora will use a new auditing service.

The current auditing provider is retiring soon, so the City sent out requests for proposals to replace him. They received three proposals, including two private firms and the State Auditor’s office. According to City Administrator Lisa Grossman, all three proposals were relatively close as far as services provided, but there were definitely differences in cost. At the most recent City Council meeting, they went over the three bids.

In the end, the Council decided to go with the low bidder, Feldman and Company from Carroll. They agreed to a three-year contract.
