The annual Friends of the Adel Public Library Foundation book sale will be here soon, though they are still accepting donations.

Book donations will be accepted up until closing time this Friday. The sale will start on Thursday, August 10th with the pre-sale. It will run from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and is free for members of the Friends organization, or $5 for anyone else who would like to get the jump on the sale. It will be free to the public from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday, August 11th, and from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, August 12th. The sale will be held in the library’s community room.

All proceeds from the book sale will go towards funding next year’s summer reading program.
