Greene County Farmer’s Market is coming up on its last two months of the season.

Along with finding locally grown produce, baked goods, meat products and crafts, you will also find a fundraising meal for an organization each week at the market. This Tuesday Jefferson Hy-Vee will be serving a meal. They will have hamburgers and hotdogs, along with chips, bars, drinks and there will be free samples of their grilled market vegetables.

The organizations to serve a fundraising meal for the month of August include the Morning Star Masonic Lodge on August 8th and 15th, on August 22nd will be the Greene County Lamb Producers and the Greene County Early Learning Center will be on August 29th.

The farmer’s market is from 4 to 6pm on the east side of the courthouse in Jefferson every Tuesday through the end of September.
