New Greene County Head Football Coach Mitch Moore and his coaching staff will be conducting the Gridiron Football Camps next week. The camp for players entering grades 7-12 will be on August 1, 2, and 3 from 4-5:30 p.m. Camp for those entering grades 3-6 will be from 5:30-7 p.m., also the first three days of August. Camp will be conducted in Jefferson at the High School on both the practice field and Linduska Field.

Official practice for those in high school begins on Monday, August 7 throughout the state of Iowa. Other Fall sports also officially begin practice on August 7.

Coach Moore is in his first season as a head coach. He’s a Ballard (Huxley) graduate who played college football, and has also coached on both the high school and college levels as an assistant. He is also the Activities Director for the Greene County School District, as well as the Coordinator and Consultant for the Greene County Youth Athletic Association.
