Two West Central Valley Wildcat baseball stars were rewarded with honorable mentions in the 2017 West Central Activities Conference all conference selections.
Through a very solid season, the Wildcats produced two honorable selections in senior Logan Pruitt and sophomore Cole Arnburg.
Pruitt was a big catalyst on the season for first year head coach Justin Keck and the Wildcats. The senior tied for the team lead in both RBI’s with 23 and total hits with 29. Pruitt was also solid from a raised platform tossing 47 strikeouts from the pitchers mound which helped him to limit opponents to a mere .226 batting average.
Sophomore Cole Arnburg put in a season worthy of a .338 batting average and an honorable mention. Where the sophomore was most prominent was on the mound where he led the Wildcats with 53 strikeouts and just 22 walks. Arnburg totaled a season ERA of 4.38 while holding the opposition to a mere .235 batting average.
Again, West Central Valley’s Cole Arnburg and Logan Pruitt were the two Wildcat baseball stars who earned honorable mention honors in the all conference selections for the West Central Activities Conference baseball season. The complete all conference list will be released once all conference teams have concluded their 2017 campaigns.
