David Hoyle 31 of Churdan was booked in the jail to serve a sentence.

A deputy investigated a parking complaint in the 300 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

A deputy conducted a traffic stop and arrested Jose Hernandez 27 of Grand Junction for driving while barred, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance marijuana.

A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 130th Street east of N Avenue, Justin Goins of Lidderdale was driving a 2005 Ford F150. Justin stated that he spilled his drink and struck the guard rail to a bridge. The estimated damage to the vehicle $2000 dollars. The damage to the bridge is still under investigation.

A deputy investigated a domestic in the 900 block of Cedar Street, Scranton.

A deputy conducted a welfare check at the intersection of 230th Street and S Avenue.

A deputy assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with a school bus accident.

A deputy investigated a dog bite in the 500 block of South Main Street, Paton.

Sunday, July 16th

A deputy checked on an abandoned vehicle at 220th Street and U Avenue.

A deputy checked on an abandoned vehicle at 220th and W Avenue.

A deputy investigated a pavement blow up at J Avenue and 280th Street.

A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near L Avenue. Leslie Duff 63 of Carroll struck a deer with her 2009 Toyota Corolla. The estimated damage to the vehicle was around $2500 dollars.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint I the 1800 block of 283rd Street.

A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on U Avenue and X Avenue.

Cathryn Stone 38 of Churdan was booked into the jail for failure to appear arrest warrant.

Monday, July 17th

A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 230th Street. When the deputy arrived in the area they found a 2011 Chevorlet Equinox in the ditch. The vehicle was being operated by Talon Church 19 of Ogden. The vehicle had struck a power pole. The estimated damage to the vehicle was around $9500 dollars. Talon was arrested for operating while intoxicated 1st offense, failure to maintain control, and driving without a license. The estimated damage to the power pole was around $1100 dollars.

A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1100 block of Livingston Street, Churdan.

A deputy investigated a two car accident on 220th Street at Eaton Avenue. Earl Mcalexander 55 of Rockwell City was driving a 2010 Ford Fusion South on Eaton Avenue and failed to stop at the posted stop sign. Earl struck a semi in the back axle of the trailer. The damage to his vehicle is around $8500 dollars. The semi and trailer were 2015 Kenworth’s. Kin Gorden 57 of Nevada was the driver of the semi. The estimated damage to the trailer axle is around $3000 dollars. Scranton Fire did respond to the scene and cleaned up a small leak. Earl Mcalexander was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.

Talon Church 19 of Ogden was booked into the jail for operating while intoxicated 1st offense.

A deputy assisted with traffic control for a small spill of an unknown substance on 220th Street and J Avenue.

A deputy investigated a truck in the ditch at 340th and I Avenue. The vehicle was found to be in Calhoun County.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 400 block of Lovejoy Street, Rippey.

A deputy located Joe Blackmon in the 200 block of Main Street, Rippey. Joe Blackmon 41 of Jefferson was arrested for a probation violation arrest warrant.

A deputy investigated a road blow up on E Avenue near 250th Street.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 900 block of Locust Street, Scranton. Freedom Ore 36 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for assault causing bodily injury/mental illness.

A deputy investigated a missing person report in the 400 block of Harding Street, Churdan. The persons were located.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 500 block of Jefferson Street, Scranton.

Tuesday, July 18th

Donald Wallace 79 of Churdan was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 16th Street and Main Street in Grand Junction.

A deputy investigated a vicious dog complaint in the 500 block of South 12th Street, Grand Junction.

A deputy investigated an identity theft in the 500 block of I Avenue.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 300 block of Head Street, Churdan.

A deputy assisted a motorist with a flat tire on 235th Street near G Avenue.

A deputy investigated a violation of a no contact order in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 600 block of Jefferson Street, Scranton.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 600 block of 12th Street South, Grand Junction.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1000 block of K Avenue.

The Sheriff and a deputy, Churdan Fire and Rescue, Scranton Fire, and Jefferson Fire were called for 4 Carroll County residents that were lost on the river near D Avenue. 3 of them were found to be home in Carroll County. The fourth was located on a sand bar near Hyde Park.

Wednesday, July 19th

A deputy investigated a harassment in the 400 block of Paton Street, Paton.

A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 500 block of Sand Street, Churdan.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton.

Niko Rice 23 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for attempted murder, willful injury causing serious injury, harassment 2nd degree, domestic abuse assault-impeding air/blood flow causing bodily injury.

A deputy investigated a rock chip to a vehicle’s window on 220th Street near Mulberry Avenue.

A deputy investigated a trespass complaint on 9 th Street and Main Street on the railroad tracks in Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
