The postseason officially starts today for the West Central Valley baseball team with round two of the class 2A district 15 tournament in Neola.

The Wildcats, 14-9, are having their best season since the 2013 campaign and as a result earned a first round by and will now play the round one winner in Underwood. Entering into this afternoon’s contest, the Wildcats have acquired a 2-3 record against non conference opponents while being outscored 43-31.

The last time the Wildcats and the Eagles squared off was in the 2013 campaign where Underwood took the win. The Wildcats will be seeking to take revenge in 2017 and it starts this evening in Neola as West Central Valley battles Underwood with first pitch at 5:00 pm.
