The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department is starting a couple activities this week.

A mini cheerleading camp is for girls and boys in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Participants will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading. The camp is tomorrow from 2 to 5:30pm with a special performance at 5:15pm. Cost to participate is $20 and the camp will be held at the Greene County Community Center.

A new class is geared toward three- to six-year-old boys and girls based on the book “A Very Hungry Caterpillar”. The class will be held from 10 to 11:30am at the community center. Cost to participate is $10.
