Tomorrow everyone is invited to help welcome the 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit into Greene County and Jefferson.

Wild Rose Jefferson Marketing Manager Aaron Harn says the exhibit will start in Perry at the Shopko/Hy-Vee parking lot at noon. It will then travel west on Highway 141 and then head north on Highway 4. A motorcade will bring in the exhibit and the public is encouraged to line Highway 4 in Jefferson as it makes its way to Wild Rose Casino and Resorts. Harn points out that the exhibit features interactive educational items about the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.

Harn talks about why he wanted to get involved and help coordinate something like this.

“I was actually in New York City a few years ago and I went to the 9/11 Memorial there. It was very touching and I thought it would be a chance to bring some of that here to Jefferson because not everyone has the ability to go to New York City to see the actual 9/11 Memorial. So this is part of that. So we thought we would try to get it closer to home.”

The exhibit will be open from noon to 6pm July 1st through the 3rd and from 2 to 8pm on the 4th. It will be free and open to the public.
