Throughout the day Monday there were several reports of vandalism and destruction of property in Perry, and the police department believes they are all connected.

The incidents occurred throughout the afternoon on Otley Street. The vandals used orange and black paint on vehicles and houses, as well as dumped trash in the street. Police Chief Eric Vaughn believes the incidents are connected, though they don’t have any leads.

The incidents were all reported in the 2200 and 2300 blocks of Otley Street, and the property vandalised included a car, a truck, a house, and front railing and steps. If anyone has any information about the incidents, they are encouraged to reach out to the Perry Police Department.
