The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors meets in regular session today.
Pastor Dean Porter will present for approval this year’s Bible Reading Marathon. Guthrie County Veteran’s Affairs Administrator and General Relief Coordinator Darcia Robson will then discuss time allocated to the Environmental Health Department.Public Health Director and Interim Environmental Health Director Jotham Arber will then provide an update for fiscal year 2016-2017 budgets and re-appropriation of line items in fiscal year 2017-2018. Glenwood Communications Technology Development Director Curt Thornberry will discuss the renewal of services contract for the 2018 fiscal year and renewal of Kaspersky security software licenses.
The Supervisors will also consider for approval rent vouchers for fiscal year 2017-2018 and a lease agreement with the Iowa Department of Human Services for the Targeted Case Management Unit. They will also sign a letter of approval termination of trash collection services with Bohlmann & Sons Sanitation and take receipt of the Diamondhead Lake Rural Improvement Zone engineering report for extension of Rural Improvement Zone dissolution. The Supervisor will close the meeting with the transfer of Emergency Management Association Funds from the county budget to EMA budget.
The meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Guthrie County Courthouse.
