In conjunction with their summer reading program, the Perry Public Library will be hosting a special blood drive event on Friday, June 23rd.
The theme of the summer reading program is “Build a Better World,” and organizers thought a blood drive fit that purpose perfectly. The event will be held from 1:30-5:30 p.m. at the library. Donors must be at least 16-years-old, weigh at least 120 pounds, and have no health conditions that would disallow them giving blood. Appointments are encouraged and can be made by calling the library at 515-465-3569.
