stuart cityThe second day of Good Egg Days in Stuart will carry on today in spite of the possibility of less than ideal weather conditions. Organizer Lynsi Pasutti says the celebrations will go on as conditions are safe outdoors and indoor activities will continue as planned.

Activities open this morning with the community 5K run/walk and at 8:00 a.m. beginning at Lawbaugh Park and will be followed by a multitude of contests, music and activities throughout the day.

Brand new this year is an egg toss contest being held at 3:00 p.m. in front of the Miller Plumbing Building on North Division Street. Another highlight is the West Central Valley alumni banquet at 5:00 at the high school.

The Raccoon Valley Radio Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live, playing music and making announcements, from downtown, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
