A Scranton man recently pled guilty in Carroll County District Court for a December incident.

According to court documents, 32-year-old Anthony Ray Crook pled guilty to a Class D Felony for third degree burglary and a serious misdemeanor for fourth degree theft. The plea stems from an incident on December 11, 2016. Crook stole boots and coveralls from a Carroll County resident valued between $200 and $500.

Crook was additionally charged with a Class C Felony for first degree criminal mischief, but in his plea agreement, the State agreed to drop that charge.

Crook will be sentenced on July 13th.
