A helping hand can sometimes come from unexpected sources. Such was the case of the South Dallas County Landfill helping out the City of Adel with a new water fountain.

The drinking fountain at Pedal Adel Plaza was broken and leaking, and the city was in desperate need of a replacement. The South Dallas County Landfill stepped up and partnered with the City to purchase a new fountain, complete with a water bottle faucet. The City recently installed the fountain, and their hope is the walkers and bikers using the Raccoon River Valley Trail will enjoy it.
