A special financial literacy class is coming up with Greene County ISU Extension.

“Your Money Your Future” is a program that focuses on individuals making their money work for them. Participants will learn how to develop a spending plan and set financial goals, access credit history without paying fees, select a financial institution that best meets their needs, understand how credit cards work and how to avoid the credit card trap. Extension Family Finance Specialist Carol Ehlers will lead the class.

It will be a two-part program on June 19th and 26th from 5:30 to 7pm. A light meal will be provided. The classes are free and pre-registration is encouraged. To sign up, call 386-2138 or stop by the Extension office in Jefferson.
