The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Guthrie County takes place tomorrow.

Raccoon Valley Radio will be there starting at 3:00 p.m. to make local announcements and provide musical entertainment until 10:00 p.m.  The Relay at the AC/GC High School track in Guthrie Center is just one part of a whole night of events to remember those who lost their  fight against cancer and honor those who are still fighting according to Coordinator Kim Durst.

“The night will have the remembrances that everyone says are unforgettable, but in addition to that we will also serve a meal, have games for children and musical entertainment.”

Fundraising through your Relay For Life event supports the Society’s mission to prevent cancer, save lives and diminish suffering from cancer.

3 p.m. – Raccoon Valley Radio

4-6 p.m. – Survivor/Caregiver Registration-At the Survivor tent on the track.

6-8 p.m.- Kid Games on the Track

4-7 p.m. – Silent Auction

4:30 – 5:45 p.m. – Team Pictures–Main Stage

5 p.m. – Dancers: Adair Dance Academy and Main Street Dance

5 p.m. – Dinner @ The Track– Free-will donation-served by Betty Smith family. While supplies last!

5:30 p.m. – Cake Walk – Food Tent-West of the concession stand.

6 p.m. – Opening Ceremony Presentation
