At the most recent meeting of the Perry City Council, their only item of old business was the approval of the fifth pay request for the North Street construction project.
The pay request was for $400,764.34 for work done on the project, which should be concluded soon. The project documents were signed by the engineer, who said the contractor has completed roadway, trail, and grating operations. All that’s left is to work on punch list items. Members of the Council who have seen the work done on the project were very complimentary of how it has turned out. The North Street project has been in the works for several years, and the Council is excited to finally have it realized.
