With just over a month until this year’s Greene County Fair, there are several livestock meeting reminders for 4-H’ers to be aware of.

Horse exhibitors are reminded of a halter and open riding session that will take place on June 14th at the fairgrounds from 6 to 8pm and there will be an additional open riding session on the 13th from 6 to 7:30pm. Any 4-H’er showing horse at the county fair, must attend one indoor and three outdoor meetings. Also on June 13th will be Communications Day at the Extension office.

Beef exhibitors and Cattle Kids will both meet at Tanner Lawton’s farm at 2pm on June 25th. First through third graders are reminded to meet at the fairgrounds on June 24th for the Birds and Bunnies program. Individuals must attend that meeting to show at the county fair.

The 2017 Greene County Fair is July 11th through the 17th.
