The Adel Public Library is holding their yearly summer reading program, called “Build a Better World,” and they’re offering weekly events for kids of all ages.
Starting this week, they will have several fun opportunities at the library. Weekly programs include: “Wee Read” on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.; “Messy Monday Crafts” on Mondays at 2 p.m.; and “We Sing” on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Each program is open to kids of any age.
Additionally, throughout the summer the Adel library is offering activities for teens. Kids in grades 7-12 are encouraged to join the “Walk Away the Pounds” group every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 9 a.m. On Wednesdays the group meets for a Tai Chi session. Additionally, they hope to help teens relax every week with their “Color Me Calm” group, which meets each Tuesday at 1 p.m.
