At the most recent Perry City Council meeting, they discussed a possible 28E agreement with the Polk City Police Department.
Polk City was wanting to utilize Perry’s firing range for officer training, but to do so they needed to get the approval of the City of Perry. Mayor Jay Pattee stated this would not be the first time another city’s police department has used Perry’s firing range, and they haven’t had any issues in the past. The Council unanimously approved a resolution allowing Pattee to sign the 28E agreement on behalf of the City.
