habitat for humanity new office pic 2Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity has started work on projects in Guthrie County and this summer there are projects in Guthrie Center, Yale, Stuart and Jamaica.

Associate  Director Jeff Lamoreaux tells Raccoon Valley Radio the group has had great responses to requests for volunteer groups, but would love to see even more assistance pour in.

“We’re still doing some work and trying to get things built up, but the core group of volunteer responses have been fantastic and we’ve have really good responses from local churches coming out, helping and supporting.”

Heart of Iowa Habitat has been doing projects in Guthrie County since 2015. Lamoreaux encourages interested volunteers to reach out to him by phone at 515-432-1168 or online at: www.heartofiowahabitat.org.
