Heads up for motorists, some roads will be closed in preparation for the Bell Tower Festival in Jefferson.
Co-Chair Brandon Gustoff says today Wilson Avenue from Washington to State streets will be closed to set up the beverage garden. He adds that the immediate streets around the downtown square will be also closed starting at 6am Friday morning. Vendors will be mostly located on the west and north sides of the square and will start setting up at 10am Friday. The inflatables will be located on the east side of the square.
Saturday morning, State Street from Wilson Avenue to Elm Street will be closed for the car show and the American Cornhole Organization contest. Parts of the extended streets around the square will also be closed Saturday morning.
Barricades will be set up for the festival to help keep the activities and the motoring public safe.
