The Perry Chamber of Commerce has a new member in Newbury Living, and they’re officially welcoming them to town with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Willis Avenue Apartments.
The apartment complex is located across the street from the Perry Police Department, and the ribbon-cutting will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Chamber Director Bob Wilson says Mayor Jay Pattee, City Administrator Sven Peterson, and several developers that helped make the event possible will all be attending the ceremony, and there will be free refreshments.
Wilson is excited for the ribbon-cutting and for what the apartments can do for the City. “You know, it’s going to be a celebration. It’s a great facility, it provides a great housing option for a lot of people in our town. So we’re happy to support it. Newbury Living is a Chamber member, and a new Chamber member, so we’re happy to promote them in any way we can.”
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Newbury Living will be giving attendees tours of the apartments. Wilson thinks the event is a great way to shed some light on one of the newest Chamber members and welcome them into the community.
