guthrie county arts councilThe Guthrie County Arts Council is making progress on preparations for the sixth annual Art in the Village event June 3. The event gathers artists from around the state to display and sell their work at the Guthrie County Historical Village in Panora.

President Lynsi Pasutti says it will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include performances by several musical acts and displays by a variety of artists including woodworkers, potters, fiber artists, painters and metal workers.

Past events have seen as many as 25 artists make an appearance with a diverse selection of artwork. It is free and open to the public.
