A Celebration of Life service for Evelyn Marie Avitt, 90, of Adel, will be Saturday at 11 am at the McCalley Funeral Home in Adel.  Burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 9 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Trinity Center at Lutheran park or Unity Hospice in Des Moines.  Online condolences may be left at mccalleyfuneralhome.com.  Survivors include:  Children, Sue Griswold, Dennis Christiansen, Larry Christiansen, Jame Christiansen, Penny Zaun and Todd Christiansen.  14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
