friday fest

Perry’s yearly summer tradition of Friday Fest will be here before you know it.

The first event of the year will be held June 16th and will feature the group Ruckus performing at the bandshell in Pattee Park. According to Chamber of Commerce Director Bob Wilson, alcoholic beverages will be permitted but the City asks people to not bring glass bottles. Wilson says the event should be a great time for all ages.

“This is very family friendly. Bring a blanket, bring your lawn chair, whatever it is, just come and hang out. It’s a fun-filled evening, and you know it’s free. You can bring your own food, drink, you can partake in the vendors that we have. So this is what the whole purpose is, is just to give you guys as the residents something fun to do.”
