perry library

This weekend the Friends of the Perry Public Library are hosting a plant sale to support the library’s efforts.

The sale will run from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday. It will take place in the library’s meeting room. A wide assortment of plants will be available for sale, with all proceeds going to fund the library’s programs. Library Director Mary Murphy says anyone looking to improve the look of their yard should give it a try. “This is a chance to plant your whole yard, very, very reasonably. Because these plants have been taken out of yards around Perry. So their roots are all acclimatized to Iowa.”
