Nine Greene County High School students are on the Boone HS soccer team through an athletic sharing agreement. The girls are coming off a 3-0 loss to Grinnell on May 15, and are 4-8 overall after getting just one victory all of last season. Coach Chris Mann’s Toreadors have a busy stretch to end the regular season with the next four games at home vs. Webster City on May 18, Newton at home on May 19, two games at home on May 22 vs. Ballard and Kuemper Catholic, before playing at Carroll on May 23.

The postseason starts on Saturday, May 27 vs. Ft. Dodge Senior High in a Substate contest.

Although Boone lost to Grinnell, Coach Mann said it was a fairly good game for the Toreadors. Greene County High School freshman Bailey Cunningham had 33 saves in the loss.
