Crazy weather spread across much of the state last night but wasn’t enough to impact the ADM boys soccer team in their road contest in Nevada.

It was primarily a defensive affair that gave the fans some bonus soccer with 1-1 tie at the end of regulation. Unfortunately for the Tigers, the game would slip away and Nevada would end up with the overtime victory 2-1.

The game started out strong for the Tigers taking just 14 minutes to touch up the scoreboard with the first goal of the contest. That goal came via the combination pass from Connor York to Davis Barton who in turn slipped it past a double team  to find Lucas O’Connor for the goal.

The Tigers would take that 1-0 lead into the half but from there the hometown Cubs picked up momentum scoring early in the second frame to equalize the game at 1-1. The ball possession that ADM dominated with in the first half wasn’t as present in half number two and could not get another clean look at the goal. The contest would end up heading into overtime where Nevada would pull out the win handing ADM their 5th loss  on the season.

The Tigers are now 12-5 and will look to wrap up the regular season tomorrow in Carroll with a 7:00 pm start.
