The Perry City Council will meet Monday evening in regular session.
Among the items on the agenda is a public hearing to discuss an amendment to the 2017 fiscal year budget. The community is encouraged to attend the meeting and weigh-in on the topic. After the hearing, the Council is expected to approve the resolution adopting the amendment.
The Council will also discuss a resolution approving the cleaning service agreement renewal, as well as consideration of approval of the Airport Commission’s recommendation as airport consultants. Additionally, the Council will discuss an urban chicken ordinance that would streamline the process for keeping chickens within City limits, as well as discussion on the legalization of fireworks in Iowa.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building.
