In just their fourth meet of the season, the ADM boys golf team came out firing on all cylinders this past weekend taking 2nd out of 8 teams in the 18 hole Perry Invitational on Saturday.

The Tigers of Gilbert would take the crown shooting 310 through 18 holes followed by the Tigers of ADM with a team score of 330. Norwalk came in third with a round of 332 while the field was rounded out with Greene County in 4th, host Perry in 5th, Woodward-Granger took the 6th spot, Pella Christian earned 7th place all rounded out with Carlisle in 8th.

Individually it was Micah Moyer to take the top spot for the Tigers shooting 77 through 18 holes which also placed him third in the entire tournament. Jacob Schumacher was not too far behind taking second on the team with an 18 hole round of 82. Adam O’Connor had a nice round of 84 on the day while Grant Curran rounded out the Tiger varsity scores with an 87 for the tournament.

Will Geadelmann led the Tiger JV squad shooting 88 through 18 holes followed by Matthew West with an 89. The 18 hole score of 93 earned Colin Connors third place on the Tiger JV team while Zack Ferguson rounded out the JV scoring with a 105 on the day.

Both the boys and girls golf teams will be in action today as the Lady Tigers will take on their third conference triangular of the season and they’ll do so in the comforts of River Valley Golf Course this afternoon beginning at 4:00 pm. Also at 4:00 pm the Tiger boys will be swapping venues playing their meet in Carroll.
