Here’s a breakdown of the weeks action for ACGC springs sports this week:

Today it will be the ACGC girls golf team that will kick things off at the Lake Panorama National Golf Course involved in the annual Panorama Girls Invite. It will be a nine team field comprised of host Panorama and fellow conference foes Des Moines Christian, West Central Valley, Madrid, and Woodward-Granger. The non conference slate looks like CAM, CenterVille, Glidden-Ralston, and Ankeney Christian Academy. The meet this afternoon will tee off at 3:00 pm.

The action will pick back up tomorrow with both golf teams in action with a pair of conference triangulars against Van Meter and Ogden at  the Cedar Pointe Golf Course at 4:00 pm. It will be a ten team field for the Charger boys including Audubon, CAM, Exira-Elk-Horn-Kimbalton, Griswold, IKM-Manning, Panorama, Treynor, and Tri-Center high schools. The Charger girls will have a similar field but instead of Treynor, Coon Rapids-Bayard, and Tri-Center the field will have Missouri Valley and Orient-Macksburg. Both meets will begin at 4:30 pm.

Thursday will be another solo contest for the Charger girls golf team at the Woodward-Granger Golf course at 1:00 pm while both Charger track teams will reside in the comforts of home for the Gonzales/Parrish Invitational beginning with field events at 5:00 pm.

The week will wrap up on Saturday when the Charger boys golf team will get a crack at a solo contest in Coon Rapids beginning bright and early with first tee time at 8:00 am.
