Iowa State University Extension and Outreach for Dallas County recently announced the appointment of Jeff Jackson as their new executive director.

Executive director is a newly created position with Dallas County Extension, and Jackson will officially start on May 1st. The position will require him to provide leadership to the Extension Council and staff while overseeing the delivery of educational programs. He currently serves in the Polk County Extension office as the youth coordinator, and previously worked for Michigan State University Extension and Outreach.

The Dallas County Extension office is excited to welcome Jackson and his over 12 years of experience to Dallas County. They hope he will help grow the services in Dallas County, particularly those involved with youth and education.
