The Greene County School Board will meet twice tonight.

The Board will hold a work session with a presentation by the teachers and staff of the intermediate school. Because it will be a work session, the Board isn’t going to take any formal action. The meeting will begin at 5:15pm.

The regular meeting will then take place at 6:30pm. Under old business, the Board is expected to ratify the negotiated agreement with the Greene County Education Association.

Under new business, the Board will consider for approval the 2017-18 physical education waiver, a fundraiser request, the 2017-18 agreement with Genesis Development, the 2017-18 student assistance program agreement with youth and shelter services, sharing a math teacher with Paton-Churdan, summer projects through sales tax and physical plant and equipment levy funds, soliciting bids for selling equipment and an Area Education Agency purchase agreement.

The Board will also discuss soccer and a professional development topic.

Both meetings will be in the conference room of the administrative building in Jefferson.
