The ADM Tiger boys soccer team ended off the night with a 2-1 overtime victory against Gilbert on the road. Gilbert took a 1-0 lead into the half but the Tigers would pick up the pace in second half, tying the game at 1-1 after Ethan Mayer’s corner kick bounced off the post and found Justin Annear with the rebound and in turn Annear would earn the goal. Regulation was not enough for the Tigers squared match up as the game went into overtime tied at one. The fate of the match went down to penalty kicks where ADM came out victorious 4-3 thanks to goals by Davis Barton, Connor York, Eli Schwarzkopf and Lucas O’Connor. Three out of Drew Gordon’s 11 saves on the night came in the overtime frame as the Tigers would win the shootout and the match 2-1. The Tigers are now 4-2 on the season and will be back in action at home tomorrow night for senior night against the Ballard Bombers.
