fates and traitorsTime is running out to get your copy of this year’s Greene County Reads book ahead of the book discussions to be held later this month.

Jefferson Library Director Jane Millard says the book they will discuss on Thursday, April 20th is “Fates & Traitors” by Jennifer Chiaverini . It is a fictional story about John Wilkes Booth and the four women that loved him. Millard says the discussions will take place at three different libraries on April 20th, the Churdan Library at 9am, Rippey Library at 2pm and the Marchant Memorial Library in Scranton at 7pm. Grand Junction resident Jan Scharingson will lead the discussions. Millard points out a special guest will join in on each of the conversations.

“We’re so excited this year because at the end of our discussion the author, who is a best-selling author from Wisconsin, is going to join us for the second half of each of these discussions. That will be a special treat.”

Copies of the book are available at any of the county libraries.

The discussions are co-sponsored by the Greene County Libraries Association and the Greene County Board of Supervisors.
