In their effort to bring a Freedom Rock to the city, the Minburn American Legion is hosting an all-you-can-eat fish fry Friday.

Freedom rocks are large rocks painted by Greenfield artist Ray “Bubba” Sorensen, whose goal is to put one in all 99 Iowa counties. Each rock is unique to the county it’s in, and the paintings honor armed forces veterans. The fish fry will be held Friday at the Minburn American Legion from 5:30-7 p.m. The cost is a free-will donation. The meal includes fish, french fries, and coleslaw.
