Funeral Services for Karen (Cain) Peters, 78, of Burlington, formerly of Rippey, Ft. Dodge, and Humboldt will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 29 at the Rippey United Methodist Church in Rippey. Burial will be in the Rippey Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 28 at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson after 1:00 p.m. with her family present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be sent to the Burlington Humane Society.

Karen is survived by her children: Kathy Jensen of Waukee, IA; David Peters of Humboldt, IA; Jane Ericson of West Pueblo, CO; Donna Peters of Lakewood, CO; Julie Georgiou of Denver, CO; and Doug Peters of Burlington, IA; and ten grandchildren.
